Extracurricular Activities

While the student body of Grace is currently too small and far apart (in age) to participate in organized athletic teams like the ones you see at public schools, we overcome it by offering occasional in-school athletic events that are multi-aged and suitable for all our students.

As a member-school of the Evergreen Lutheran High School System, we also have the opportunity to occasionally participate in peer-group athletic events with other private Lutheran schools in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.

Prospective students should know that they also have the right to participate, free of charge, in the tax-payer-funded athletic programs of local public schools, even while attending Grace Lutheran School.  If you're interested in this option for your child, please speak to our principal for information.

Once a year, in spring, the entire Grace student body comes together to present an all-school play.  The performance is typically based on one of Grimm's Fairy Tales and includes parts adapted to fit the number, skill, and confidence of our individual students.

The whole school participates!  Students are always challenged and enjoy the effort.  Parents and grandparents consider it a highlight, too.
